FICUS CYATHISTIPULA

The large, leathery leaves of this lush-looking house plant clothe the upright, branching stems throughout the year. A tough and undemanding plant (provided it is not overwatered), it tolerates lower light levels than many of the others, so it's ideal for north-facing rooms.

 WATERING

Water when the top 50%-75% of soil becomes dry, then thoroughly drench until the water drains into the saucer. Empty the saucer if the water level is high so as not to drown the roots. Do not splash water on the leaves, this can cause stains                                                                      

 HUMIDITY

  will appreciate you misting its leaves to increase humidity—especially when it gets very warm in the summer. Misting regularly also helps to keep mites (damaging insects) from making themselves at home on the leaves.   

 IDEAL TEMPERATURE                                                         

 enjoys average room temperatures of 65-78 degrees. Avoid temperatures below 55 degrees, sudden temperature drops, or cold drafts.

 Rubber Tree leaves are mildly toxic to humans and pets. Typically, ingestion will cause mouth and stomach irritation and possible vomiting.
