With glossy, dark green leaves shaped like scalloped arrows, the Alocasia x amazonica plant gets its dramatically striking appearance from the bold silvery-green veins that streak across the leaves. Along with its “Polly” nickname, the plant is also commonly called Polly African mask, elephant's ear or Amazon taro

 MEDIUM LIGHT

 Thrives best in well lit, bright conditions, however direct sunlight will scorch the leaves.

 WATERING

 Keep the compost moist with warm water. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Little and often is a good approach.                                                                       

 HUMIDITY

  Needs a moist environment with above average humidity. Stand on a pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Pop it near the shower for a while to give it an occasional boost if required. Ideal in kitchens and bathrooms.    

 IDEAL TEMPERATURE                                                         

  Needs to be kept warm, ideally between 18-22°C.

 These plants are harmful if eaten end and are a skin and eye irritant. Keep out of reach of children and animals
